Geekbots Symbol

"Since we are no longer merely Autobot and Decepticon, but have come together to join our individual talents and intellects into one harmonious whole... we do away with our old brands of separation and unite under our new logo. Behold, the wonders of scientific cooperation!"

"Aw, that wuz so touchin' Skids, *sniff*sniff* I think my optics are gonna spring a leak.

"...wait, nah, I just gots some dirt in 'em. False alarm." *sneer*

"Oh, shut up, Crankcase. (Fine, maybe not entirely harmonious...)"

The Excelsior Project

Wed Feb 18, 2009, 9:05 AM
Skyfall, like most young beings, was a dreamer. He dreamt of the freedom to see everything, go anywhere, experience everything the universe had to offer. So when he heard about the Excelsior Project, a project that would remove all limitations from the Cybertronian race and give them ultimate freedom, he was the first to sign up.

As the saying goes: you should be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Now Skyfall is dangerous and out of control, his body's freedom beyond his capability to reign in, and beyond Cybertron's best warriors to stop. It's the top intellectual minds among the Autobots and Decepticons who'll have to find a way to use science gone right to save themselves from science gone wrong... and the spark of one lost daydreamer who's in over his head.

If you thought that only the warriors could have exciting adventures, then we hope you'll sit back and let us show you otherwise. Welcome to Amalgham, the home of the many stories about us thinkers and dreamers in the Transformers. Our first tale is coming soon, brought to you by the following chroniclers:

We're also looking for more people to help us once the script is 100% finalized (it's currently about 75% done). We'll need artists of all stripes: pencillers, inkers, colorists, and letterers! You would likely only have to commit to 2-3 pages at most if you signed up.

If helping out with telling the tales of the Geekbots and Nerdicons in their own comic sounds interesting to you, please note us here and we'll pass the word along to our editors.

Thank you for reading, and please enjoy the teaser sketches and designs in our gallery!
